Applications Overview

Applications play a crucial role in business management. Whether you rely on handwritten notes, DataLexing, Excel, Access, or another tool, applications help structure and manage information. Even a simple customer list on a notepad qualifies as a basic application.

What is a DataLexing Application?

A DataLexing Application consists of tables that store data in rows and columns. These applications can contain multiple tables, each holding information for different projects.

DataLexing Applications help maintain organization, making it easy to view and update data. You can quickly create tables with related fields, such as a client contact list.

With API support, DataLexing simplifies data retrieval and entry into applications. Developers can automate processes, but even non-technical users can populate tables effortlessly using webhooks. DataLexingโ€™s user-friendly interface ensures smooth application integration and data management.

How Applications Work

Understanding the components of an application allows for better data management. With DataLexing, you can manipulate stored information to support business decisions.

To create a DataLexing Application, you must first set up a workspace. Workspaces serve as the foundation for organizing data.

A DataLexing Application is composed of tables. Each table contains cells, which store individual data points. Rows represent recordsโ€”entries for specific entities like customers or orders. Columns define fields such as ID, color, or postal code.

DataLexing enables you to upload high-quality media, including images, videos, and documents, directly into application tables via a simple drag-and-drop function, streamlining the creation process.
