Sharing links involves providing external non-users with a direct URL to a specific view within DataLexing. This feature simplifies access for collaborators, removing the need for manual navigation. It's especially useful when sharing work with colleagues who do not have direct access to the workspace or application.

# Steps:

1. **Navigate to Share icon**: Locate the Share icon positioned at the top Right of the table and click on it.

2. **Share Tab:** you can generate an internal link from Share Tab\
   ​**💡 Only people with access permission to this view can see it using this link.**

3. **To Publish your View on the internet Move to Publish Tab** 

4. **Click Publish**

    Congratulation! your view has been published online

5. **Share your view:** after publishing your view copy the link and share it 

# How To Refresh Shared Link

1. **Refresh Link (if Necessary)**: if the need arise for another link, simply click on the recycling icon to regenerate it.

2. **Confirm Refreshing your link:** a pop window appear to confirm changing old link.

   note that any one that had the old link will loose access to view

3. **Allow users to export data:** you can allow users to export data shared within view by clicking this icon

4. **Password Protection (Optional):** If dealing with sensitive data or seeking enhanced security, consider restricting access with a password.  

   1. Enable the "Restrict access with a password" option

   2. write the password

   3.  click "set password" to finalize.

      **Secure Sharing**: With the password in place, only individuals possessing it can access the shared view.

5. **Unpublish view**: if you wish to revoke access to your work, click on "disable shared link" to prevent further viewing.
